Replacement Parts? We understand how frustrating losing a piece can be! As some styles are discontinued and changes are made, we cannot guarantee we have all parts, but in many cases, we do!
Flattening the mat, a note to help you enjoy Hockey Guys: The mat will have some creases when you take it out of the box. As it sits out on a hard, flat surface, the creases will smooth out, but if you would like to speed up the process, the mat can be ironed directly on the BACK – on medium. Please use caution as you must iron on the BACK ONLY and care should be taken as the plastic of the mat will heat up quickly. Only adults should attempt this.

The set is amazing quality. You can even iron the ice (from the backside) so it’s smooth and it has an easy to slide texture great for the puck. The goals have a way to connect into the rink to prevent sliding which is so helpful. They are quality pieces that don’t really break. We have had a couple sticks snap but that’s after over a year of play from a toddler so I’m surprised they lasted that long!
The bucket it comes with is also great and nice and sturdy. My toddler loves the handle that it comes with because he takes them nearly everywhere.
My son started playing with them at 2.5 and is now 3.5. I would say once your child is out of the putting everything in their mouth phase they are safe for your kiddo. Older kids would enjoy too!
We will keep adding all the hockey guys sets and individual teams to our collection and hopefully one day they will add our favorite team, Columbus Bluejackets!
My husband also coaches u10 and u8 hockey. Kids at that age are typically very visual learners. He uses the hockey guys as a teaching tool, to show them certain plays and get them more "hands on" for off-ice instructional time!
I would love to see Kaskey come out with a "Trophies" pack - because what kid doesn't dream of the cup? Ideally, it would come with the conference champs cups, the Stanley cup, and maybe a couple extra pucks because those things always get lost!
