Flattening the Field, a note to help you enjoy Football Guys: The felt field will have some creases when you take it out of the box. As it sits out on a hard, flat surface, the creases will smooth out, but if you would like to speed up the process, the field can be ironed on the BACK ONLY on a medium setting with a thin cloth sheet placed between the iron and the field. Please use caution as the felt will melt onto the iron if placed in direct contact. Only adults should attempt this.

    My grandson is 5 and he loves this gift more than any other gift I have EVER bought him. He will play with it for at least two hours at a time. I had no problem with the felt field (I ironed it on a low setting on the backside), and the football men who are running backs are carrying the football. We have had to expand our playing...we have a whistle to call time out, we have an ambulance to take hurt players to the hospital, and we play our teams fight song when they get a touch down lol. The little men are about the size of the army men that are popular for little boys to play with, in my opinion they are the perfect size!

    This is actually our second set of football guys. My oldest had a set years ago, which are still in great shape, but lots of players were lost over the years and my youngest now wanted a set with different colors. Quality is good, and he loves setting up games. I've even used the goalposts and field mat as decorations for football theme parties!
